Well Done, IFI Class of 2022! 🎓

This week marks the graduation of over 150 Illustration From Imagination students, and I’m so proud of the improvement in artwork that I’ve seen this year! 🚀

Teaching such an inspiring group of artists is a privilege that keeps me going year after year, and I want to say THANK YOU for joining this 2022 edition of the IFI program.

Watching you push your artistic limits, work together as a learning community, and create your high-quality portfolio pieces in your own style brought me such a boost of energy.  I hope it stokes your love of digital painting as well!

This blog post is a tribute to your hard work.  Keep it up, and keep practicing the new skills you’ve developed so you don’t lose your hard-earned momentum.

I’m looking forward to seeing you again the next time we open the doors to IFI!


If you’re not familiar with Illustration From Imagination, it’s a 6-week masterclass focused on up-leveling your ability to illustrate the stories in your head, become a world-class artist, and teach you how to begin making an income from your artwork by simulating a client project.  

That fictional client’s project is to create a dramatic movie poster for their newest blockbuster film!  Students have complete creative control over the brief, genre, characters, style, and more.

We all move through each week together, with new lessons, assignments and feedback for every module of the program.
